TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds that gather the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source. In addition to baby elephants and their mothers, the park is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, buffalo, and a variety of other predators and herbivores. Birdwatchers will find plenty to enjoy, as over 550 bird species inhabit the park. Among the most commonly spotted are the vividly colored yellow-necked spurfowls, white-crowned shrikes, and black-necked weavers. The expansive grasslands, dense acacia bushes, and iconic baobab and palm trees a unique Tarangire landscape that will leave a lasting impression.
