Day 1:ARRIVAL
After you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, there will be a DreamWorth Safaris guide waiting for you. After meeting the guide, he will transfer you to Arusha where you will be able to rest in the hotel. If you have time you can visit Arusha and the local market.
Day 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Today, we explore Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and magnificent baobab trees. While on our game drive, we'll have the opportunity to see a variety of African mammals, including lions and other predators.
Day 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO NDUTU SERENGETI
Today, we journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Ndutu region, located in the southern part of Serengeti National Park. From December to February/March, we have the opportunity to witness the Great Migration herds, a remarkable sight as animals navigate a long and perilous trek in search of rain and survival during the drought. We'll dedicate our days to observing the wildlife in the Ndutu area, so make sure to have your cameras ready!
Day 4: FULL DAY AT NGORONGORO NATIONAL PARK
You will explore the Ndutu area in search of activities while enjoying the diverse wildlife around Serengeti National Park. If luck on our side, we may witness the migration, so be sure to have your cameras ready to capture this experience.
Day 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Today, we journey to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater to explore its stunning and the surrounding region. This remarkable area features a dormant and breathtaking nature. While in the park, keep an eye out for the "Big Five": elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, and rhinos, along with the 30,000 other animals and diverse bird species that inhabit this incredible locale.
Day 6: DEPARTURE
After having spent a week admiring the meaningful Great Migration in Serengeti and other animals in Ngorongoro crater, today we can visit either local village or Iraqw boma. Thereafter, you can continue your trip to Zanzibar Island or another beach destination.
