Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire
Day 2 Lake Natron
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, depart with packed lunch for Lake Natron, a surreal alkaline lake about 3.5 hours from Mto wa Mbu/Manyara.
After check-in and a short rest, enjoy a guided walk along the lakeshore with a Maasai guide, searching for birdlife especially lesser flamingos.
Lake Natron is East Africa’s most important breeding site for lesser flamingos, hosting up to two million birds, mainly between September and January.
Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 3 Lake Natron to Central Serengeti
Begin early at 6:00 AM with a guided hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls, where you can relax in the cool mist of this scenic gorge before returning for breakfast.
After breakfast, drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through villages, savannah, and forest landscapes with chances to spot antelope, wildebeest, and zebras along the way.
Arrive in the afternoon for a game drive across the vast Serengeti plains, home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and prides of lions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive before ending the day with dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 4 Central Serengeti
Choose between a relaxed breakfast with a full-day game drive from 9:00 AM to late afternoon, or an early 6:00 AM sunrise game drive followed by breakfast and an afternoon safari.
Today you explore the central Seronera area of Serengeti National Park, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.
The Seronera River attracts abundant wildlife, making this region famous for its large populations of lions and leopards, with excellent game viewing year-round.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your safari before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast at 6:30 AM, depart with a packed lunch for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Your guide will choose the best wildlife circuits based on your interests and previous sightings. Big cats — especially lions — are commonly seen, along with diverse wildlife.
In the afternoon, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Overnight will be either inside the conservation area or in Karatu, followed by dinner and rest.
Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater Tour (5 hours) to Arusha
On your final day, descend early at 6:30 AM into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, covering about 260 sq km.
Enjoy a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, where you may see elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions in close proximity.
After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha (approx. 4 hours).
Drop-off in Arusha by early evening, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
